THE Community Support Program (CSP) teams of the 97th Infantry Battalion (IB) and Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company (ZDNPMFC) recently joined in the community road cleaning of a geographically isolated village in the province.

The community road cleaning was held in Nueva Vista village in Sergio Osmeña town, Zamboanga del Norte, said Lieutenant Colonel Manaros Boransing, 97IB commander.

Eric Tuastomban, Nueva Vista village chief, and the CSP teams initiated the cleanliness drive along the roads of the village.

Boransing said the clean-up started at 7 a.m. and they were able to collect all the garbage along the road.

He said the purpose of the activity is to keep their surroundings clean and healthy for the benefit of the residents. (SunStar Zamboanga)
