A HIGH-value suspect was arrested while some P680,000 worth of illegal drugs seized in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Police Colonel Alexander Lorenzo, Zamboanga City Police Office director, identified the arrested suspect as Abdulnasser Tuttoh, 39, who is listed in the anti-drug campaign as high-value individual.

Lorenzo said Tuttoh was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 8:10 a.m. Thursday, December 22, in the vicinity of a resort in Calarian village, this city.

He said that Abdulnasser was arrested after he sold a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover policeman.

He said recovered from the arrested suspect were some 100 grams of suspected shabu packed in 11 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets worth P680,000, a cellular phone, 84 pieces of photocopied P1,000 bills used as boodle money topped with one genuine P1,000 as marked money, a pouch, an identification card, and a black rubber tube.

He said the suspect was detained while formal charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are set to be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
