A CHAUFFER yielded 10 grams of suspected shabu in an anti-drug operation in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Police Colonel Diomarie Albarico, Zamboanga del Sur police director, identified the arrested suspect as Ronnie Gaje, 45, a resident of Purok African Daisy in Culo village, Molave.

Albarico said the suspect was arrested in a buy-bust around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, February 19, at Purok Alangilan in Culo village, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

He said seized from the suspect were some 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000, a cellular phone, a motorcycle, a sling bag, a bundle of boodle money topped with one genuine P1,000 placed in a white envelope.

He said the arrested suspect was brought to Molave Municipal Police Station for documentation and subsequently turned over to personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-9 for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
