The deployment came after they completed a 60-day Basic Internal Security Operations Course (Bisoc) in Zamboanga City.
Police Brigadier General Neil Alinsañgan, PRO-Zamboanga Peninsula director, led the send-off and turnover ceremony of the 110 Bisoc graduates to Police Provincial Offices, City Police Office, and Regional Mobile Force Battalion at Camp Colonel Romeo A. Abendan in Mercedes, Zamboanga City on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
Alinsañgan said 110 personnel will serve as an additional force to maintain the peace and order in Zamboanga Peninsula.
He reminded them to do their primary responsibility as law enforcers and that is to serve and protect the community.
“Engage in the community to build a positive relationship that will build the trust and confidence of the people to the PNP,” he said.
He added that as graduates of the course, it is now the time to apply the skills and lessons they have learned in their training. (SunStar Zamboanga)
