TWO most wanted persons, one of them facing a string of criminal charges, were arrested in separate law enforcement operations in Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga Sibugay provinces, the police reported Sunday, May 7, 2023.
The two arrested most wanted persons were identified as Milquem Entera, 59; and Mario Montante, 47.
Police Colonel Diomarie Albarico, Zamboanga del Sur police director, said Entera was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Friday in Purok Malipayon 2, Culo village, Molave.
Albarico said Entera has standing warrants of arrest for three counts rape with no recommended bail and 26 counts of acts of lasciviousness with recommended bail bond amounting to P200,000 and three qualified trafficking in persons with no bail recommended issued by a court in Molave, Zamboanga del Sur dated April 28, 2023.
Albarico said the accused is now under the custody of Molave Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Police Colonel Eduard Mallo, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, said Montante was arrested in an intelligence-driven law enforcement operation around noon Friday, May 5, in Purok Dama De Noche, Poblacion village, Naga.
Mallo said Montante is listed as the sixth most wanted person in Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay and has a standing warrant of arrest for two counts of rape with no recommended bail issued by a court of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay dated April 19, 2023.
Montante was placed under the custody of Naga Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
