THE Army’s 1st Infantry Division (ID) has installed a New Assistant Chief of Staff for Command and Control Communications and Cyber System (C4S), the 1ID said.

The 1ID said that Lieutenant Colonel Glenn Soledad succeeded Major Neil Espina, who is set to be the office's deputy chief, in a change of chief of office ceremony held at the officer’s clubhouse on Thursday, September 7.

The 1ID said that Espina has served the office with distinction and dedication in his short stint.

Under the leadership of Espina, the office has achieved numerous accomplishments and contributed significantly to the command mission.

Soledad, the incoming chief of office, brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in his military career.

In his message, Soledad emphasized his commitment to continuing the office’s tradition of excellence and is eager to work with the team to achieve even greater success.

Meanwhile, Major General Antonio Nafarrefe, 1Id commander, who presided over the change of office chief ceremony, commended the entire team of the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Command and Control Communications, and Cyber System (C4S) for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the mission.

He also emphasized the vital contributions of the office to the success of the 1ID mission.
